Ana-Paola Songs is a multilingual international singer, songwriter & independent recording artist. Born in Lisbon, Portugal to legendary Cape Verdean singer Joao Cirilo & raised in the USA, she possesses an eclectic musical repertoire ranging from edgy Neo-Soul to powerful, yet soothing sounds of Cape Verdean Morna. Her experiences range from live theater tours in the U.S.A to studio backing vocals for numerous artists including the late Norberto Tavares & Camilo Domingos. She was a national pick for Hollywood week of American Idol & has also represented Cape Verde as a traditional Batuku dancer in the Smithsonian Institute’s Festival of American Folklife. Her most recent performances include opening acts at the Cape Verdean National Assembly in Praia, Noite Branca (2020 & 2022), Festival de Gamboa (2022), Juneteenth Gala & Festivals, CultureFest (2022 & 2023), and the VIP artist at RISE Women's Leadership Conference (2023). Her musical works include, "Hey Love" (2020), "Nada Ku Mi" (2021), "CV Ke Di Nos" (2022) & "Mae e um so" (2023). She is currently working on her full length debut album, set to drop in early 2025.
